Part of our Greek America Corps program in Athens includes supporting our partners from Boroume who save tons of food every day from local farmers markets. The food they save — which otherwise would’ve been thrown in the garbage — is re-distributed to other charities and people in need throughout the Greek capital. We’re proud that our North American volunteers are supporting this food-saving initiative!
