The Greek America Foundation is proud to announce plans for its annual Board Meeting and Leadership Retreat Weekend on December 1-3, 2017 in Miami, Florida.
This weekend is by invitation only for members of our board of directors, members of our 300 Spartans, and individuals who have expressed an interest in being more involved and engaged with future plans of the Foundation.
The weekend is not only designed for all of us to engage with each other, but also to have fruitful conversations about the course the Greek America Foundation will take in the coming years.
We are at an important crossroads in the life of this organization and your involvement and support will make all the difference in the world to ensure its long-term viability and continued ability to impact our community for the better.

Friday, December 1, 2017
10:00am – Board of Directors Meeting at The Loews Hotel *Meeting open ONLY to board members of the Greek America Foundation only
1:00pm – Board lunch at Loews hosted by the Foundation’s Board Chair, Lea Soupata
*Free day to enjoy all that Miami has to offer. Organize your golf game, visit Coconut Grove, or enjoy a day at the beach.
4:30pm – Gregory Pappas’ 50th Birthday Party Yacht Cruise *Private event, not sponsored by the Greek America Foundation. Hosted by a group of Greg’s friends. A separate invitation will follow to all attending the weekend.

10:00am – Brunch at the Loews Hotel
*This brunch is sponsored by the GAF and generously underwritten by board chair Lea Soupata. Following brunch, a brief presentation will follow about the state of the Foundation and we will break up into committees to discuss future plans.
Following brunch and meeting, you have a free day to enjoy all that Miami has to offer. Organize your golf game, visit Coconut Grove, or enjoy a day at the beach.
8:00pm – Dinner at the Mandolin Aegean Bistro
We’re planning a special dinner at the famous restaurant in Miami’s Design District. The dinner will include a delectable feast, paired with a great collection of wines curated by Steve Kriaris of Toronto’s Kolonaki Group, one of North America’s foremost Greek wine experts. The cost per person for the dinner, which includes your meal, gratuities and drinks is $175.
*Seating is limited to 40 people at this dinner and is based on first-come, first serve availability. Please make your reservations quickly.

Discounted rates of $359-$399 per night (plus a $29 nightly resort fee) have been secured for the weekend. You must make your reservations through this link to secure the discounted rates. Deadline for the discounted rate is November 1st.
