In light of the holiday giving season, one of our longtime supporters in Chicago is generously donating a portion of his company’s proceeds to benefit our #ChildrenOfGreece fundraising and awareness campaign supporting six Greek charities.
Georgios Georgiou is the founder of Gigi Seasons, a seasonal home decor company offering various high-end products including lifelike Christmas trees, designer stockings, tree skirts, ornaments, ribbon and whole room collections.
The company not only offers beautiful, affordable holiday home decorations, but it also gives customers access to handmade, one-of-a-kind artisan products from across the globe. It also offers consumers an innovative way to stylize with its “One-Click Room” collections — all-in-one packages with decorations for an entire room.

Launched in 2017, Gigi Seasons stems from lessons that Georgios learned during his childhood on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. Since that time, Georgios has always been motivated to work hard, make a difference — and give back.
When he launched his company, Georgios realized his dream of giving back by establishing its philanthropic branch, known as Gigi Cares: Projects for Humanity. This initiative coincided with the founder’s core belief that success only matters if it is used to support others and help them to live better lives.
To Georgios, success brings added responsibility, and for Christmas of 2019 he has taken responsibility to support, via our #ChildrenOfGreece campaign, the most vulnerable members of Greece’s population — her children.
“I’ve thought a lot about making a difference,” Georgios said. “I truly believe that every company can make a difference somewhere in the world. It doesn’t always take a huge commitment to change someone’s economic outlook.”
“Often we are afraid to try because other people’s problems seem so enormous. But I think if you realize that making a change on a micro-level reverberates out in the community and creates lasting impact, we can help a lot of people.”
Georgios has already kicked off his campaign for the Greek America Foundation with a generous $3,000 donation to our endowment fund which supports our charitable and humanitarian projects.
