During the weekend of March 11-13, 2022, friends and supporters of the Greek America Foundation are invited to join the board of directors in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, for a weekend retreat.
The weekend will focus around a special event hosted by the Mayor of Ft. Lauderdale, the Honorable Dean Trantalis, and co-chaired with our board member Spiro Verras, to kick off the Foundation’s fundraising and awareness efforts for our newest initiative to adopt the LGBTQI+ Psychological Support Helpline in Greece.
Click here to visit the helpline’s website for more information.

It is unprecedented for an established mainstream Greek American organization to tackle a prevalent social issue of this kind in Greece. We hope you appreciate its significance and will join us in this effort.
While the main event will take place on Saturday evening, March 12 (time and details TBD), we’re making a weekend out of it and inviting our supporters to join with their families and take advantage of the great weather Florida has to offer that time of year.
Deeply discounted rates have been secured at the Westin Ft. Lauderdale. The address is 400 Corporate Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334. There is another Westin on Ft. Lauderdale Beach whereas our hotel is 3.8 miles from the beach. Pease ensure you choose the correct hotel!
Reservations must be made NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 16th using our special link.
*Please note: We have this rate beginning Thursday, March 10, 2022, should you decide to come a day early and make a longer weekend out of it.
