NATIONAL INNOVATION CONFERENCE Ideas Worth Sharing
A biennual conference inaugurated in Chicago in 2010, followed by New York City in 2012 and Toronto in 2014 gathering thought leaders, entrepreneurs and disrupters to share their ideas worth sharing
Providing a Fertile Ground for Radical Ideas
Two and a half thousand years ago, Socrates said that the unexamined life wasn’t worth living. He encouraged man to seek the unknown and, in a modern paraphrase, think outside the box. These words have guided generations of humans after him and still resonate today – especially in contemporary societies throughout the globe– and especially in the United States and Canada.
Bringing Together Thought Leaders
Because the world is governed by new ideas and our advancement as a society depends upon them, we decided to launch the National Innovation Conference, where global thinkers, leaders and doers can come together to present their ideas worth sharing to an audience thirsty for knowledge. As an organization, we believe that Innovation has been a central component of the Greek experience over the centuries and ranks as a core Greek ideal that we not only promote, but espouse and celebrate.

The NIC Conference was the single most important event I’ve ever attended as a Greek American. This wasn’t about food or dancing. This wasn’t about reading poems and singing songs. This was a gathering of some of the smartest people on the planet, offering their insight to a group of young people who were hungry to listen, and learn. -Dionisis Papas
