We’re proud to announce a new Homecoming Journey with CorePower Yoga instructors Dave Porter and Beth O’Reilly!
The Greek America Foundation is proud to announce a new experience in its Homecoming Journeys collection: a weeklong wellness retreat in Mykonos, Greece, taking place September 14–20, 2026.
Created as an intimate journey of yoga, culture, food, storytelling and connection, the HOMECOMING JOURNEY Mykonos Wellness Retreat with CorePower Yoga instructors invites guests to return to Greece not simply as a destination, but as a source.
A source of light.
A source of movement.
A source of beauty, balance, hospitality and meaning.
This is a homecoming to Mykonos. For thousands of years, people have come to Greece in search of clarity, healing, wisdom and connection. They came to honor the body, gather around tables, listen to stories and remember what it means to live well. This retreat was created in that same spirit.
At the heart of the week is yoga, led by Dave Porter and Beth O’Reilly, two beloved and respected leaders from the CorePower Yoga community. Through daily practices of movement, breath, strength, restoration and reflection, guests will be invited to slow down, reconnect with themselves and settle into the natural rhythm of the Aegean.
The retreat will be based at Harmony Retreat, a private luxury villa sanctuary overlooking the southern coast of Mykonos, with sweeping views across the Aegean toward Paros, Antiparos and Naxos. The estate includes two eight-bedroom villas, sixteen en-suite bedrooms, infinity pools, terraces, gardens, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces and the kind of privacy that allows guests to experience Mykonos with both ease and depth.
Meals will be central to the journey. Three meals daily are included, each prepared with care and rooted in the flavors, traditions and generosity of the Greek table. Throughout the week, food will become part of the meaning of the experience: seasonal, fresh, vibrant and deeply connected to place.
The retreat is part of Homecoming Journeys by the Greek America Foundation, a collection of high-touch travel experiences in Greece designed to go far beyond tourism. These journeys are rooted in authenticity, access and purpose, offering guests a chance to encounter Greece through culture, story, hospitality, memory and meaningful human connection.
Throughout the week, Gregory Pappas, founder of the Greek America Foundation, will help bring Greece to life through story, language, food, mythology, history and tradition, weaving a deeper sense of place into the experience.
Each day of the retreat will be shaped around Greek ways of understanding life and belonging, including philoxenia, the sacred art of welcome; sophrosyne, balance and harmony; meraki, doing something with soul; fos, light and clarity; gaia, earth and nourishment; thalassa, the sea; and kefi, joy and aliveness.
Guests will also have the option to add curated excursions throughout the week, including a guided visit to Delos, one of the most sacred islands of the ancient Greek world; a traditional village experience at Rizes; a catamaran journey to Rhenia and surrounding islets; and a sunset evening at Scorpios with Valeron.
The retreat includes twice-daily yoga, three meals daily, arrival and departure transfers from the Mykonos airport or port, and accommodations in the private villa estate. Packages begin at $4,985 per person, with double and single occupancy options available.
Booking is now open, with a deadline of June 15, 2026.
This journey is designed for those seeking more than a beautiful week in Greece. It is for those who want to move, breathe, rest, eat, listen, gather and remember. It is for those who want to experience Mykonos not only as an island, but as a place of light, generosity, history and return.
