The Greek America Foundation is proud to introduce Greek America’s Forty Under 40 Class of 2026, continuing a tradition that celebrates exceptional achievement and a commitment to making a difference. This prestigious distinction recognizes young people of Greek descent whose professional accomplishments are matched by meaningful service to others.
Since its launch in 2010, Forty Under 40 has become an enduring institution within the Greek American community. By the Class of 2024, the program had recognized 280 honorees from across North America. Each class has added new voices and experiences to a growing community connected by two of the Foundation’s central ideals: excellence and philanthropy.
Over the years, recipients have included Emmy Award-winning directors and actors, entrepreneurs, academics, musicians, lawyers and leaders in the sciences. Their paths are different, but the award celebrates something they share: a determination to use their talents and success in ways that benefit the world around them.
That combination gives Forty Under 40 its purpose. Professional distinction is considered alongside philanthropic activity, recognizing both what individuals have accomplished and how they contribute beyond their careers. The program also offers younger generations examples of leadership, generosity and engagement with their heritage and communities.
The Class of 2026 carries that tradition forward. Its honorees are advancing medical research and patient care, building businesses, creating art, expanding educational opportunities, and serving through law, public policy and humanitarian work. Alongside those achievements, their biographies tell stories of mentorship, volunteer service, support for vulnerable communities and a dedication to sharing Hellenic culture.
The selection process reflects the same continuity. A committee made up entirely of past Forty Under 40 honorees reviewed this year’s nominations. We extend our sincere appreciation to Julie Tsirambidis, Lori Chiampas, John Costouros, Yanni Dimoulis, Dina Karvounides, Andie Lazaridis, Harry Prassakos, Georgios Stroumboulis and Erini Tornesaki for their meticulous work and the time, care and thoughtful consideration they devoted to the process.
Having received this recognition themselves, these committee members understand the values it represents. Their willingness to help recognize the next class is a meaningful expression of the community the awards have built, and of the service they celebrate.
The Class of 2026 will be recognized on November 20, 2026, at Greek America Honors at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island in New York City. The celebration will bring this new class together to honor their accomplishments and contributions. Further event details will follow.
We invite you to explore the honorees’ stories and join us in celebrating the talent, generosity and promise of the Class of 2026.
