Recognizing young Greek Americans whose professional excellence is matched by a commitment to philanthropy and community.
Greek America’s Forty Under 40 was launched by the Greek America Foundation in 2010 to recognize, honor, and celebrate outstanding members of our community. Since its inauguration, the program has recognized 280 exceptional individuals from throughout North America and from many different walks of life.
Presented every two years, the awards highlight North Americans of Greek descent, age 40 and under, whose accomplishments and care for the world around them reflect the Foundation’s enduring ideals of excellence and philanthropy.
Why this project?
From Gregory C. Pappas, President & Founder
We launched Greek America’s Forty Under 40 as a way to recognize, honor, and celebrate the brightest and most successful members of our community who excel not only professionally but also philanthropically. Our hope is to maintain this tradition so that young adults remain engaged with our community and are uplifted, encouraged, and inspired to continue their pursuit of excellence.
