The Greek America Foundation will gather friends and supporters in Athens for its 2nd Annual Athens Dinner, A Night in the Cyclades, on Wednesday, October 14, at Olympias Rooftop. The special benefit dinner will support the Foundation’s summer volunteer program in Greece.
The evening will benefit Greek America Corps, the Foundation program that brings young North Americans to Greece each summer to volunteer alongside local communities, contribute meaningful service and experience Greece through something deeper than tourism.
All proceeds from the evening will support the program and help send the next generation to serve.
Natalia Bougadellis to Serve as Honorary Chairwoman
Longtime Greek America Foundation supporter Natalia Bougadellis will serve as Honorary Chairwoman of the Foundation’s 2nd Annual Athens Dinner.
Natalia has been a valued friend and supporter of the Foundation’s work for many years, particularly its programs and community-building efforts in New York City. Her involvement in the Athens benefit reflects the same commitment to bringing people together around service, culture and the next generation.
Chef Iosif Sykianakis Brings the Cyclades to Athens
The evening will feature a special Cycladic dinner created by Chef Iosif Sykianakis, drawing inspiration from his Mykonian heritage and the culinary traditions of the islands.
Chef Iosif has made an annual commitment to support the Greek America Foundation’s work by hosting this benefit dinner in Athens and bringing together his culinary partners to help make the evening possible.
This year’s dinner will take guests on a night in the Cyclades, with food, atmosphere and storytelling inspired by the islands—from their ancient heritage to the contemporary spirit of Cycladic hospitality.
His participation means that the dinner itself becomes part of the contribution: an evening created with purpose so that more of the funds raised can go directly toward the Foundation’s service work.
Help Us Send Them to Serve
At the heart of the evening is a simple idea: help us send them to serve.
Greek America Corps gives young people the opportunity to come to Greece not simply as visitors, but as volunteers. They work with local organizations and communities, build relationships and discover Greece through service.
For many volunteers, the experience changes their relationship with Greece permanently. And for the communities and organizations they serve, their presence means additional hands, energy and support where it is needed.
A Night in the Cyclades is a benefit, and every ticket helps make that work possible.
