The Greek America Foundation is proud to serve as the Founding Community Partner of Greektown Week NYC, a new citywide celebration taking place November 14–21, 2026.
Greektown Week NYC will connect the many places where Greek culture is lived and shared across New York: restaurants and bakeries, cultural organizations, businesses, artists, community institutions and landmarks. The initiative reflects a simple idea—Greek New York is not confined to one neighborhood. It is a broad, active community woven into the life of the city.
Throughout the week, the public will be invited to attend scheduled events, visit participating establishments, discover special offerings and explore permanent Greek connections throughout New York.
The first announced programs include Glykeria and Kostas Ageris live in New York on November 14, with a portion of ticket sales benefiting the Greek America Foundation, and Greek America Honors at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island on November 20.
The Foundation encourages restaurants, retailers, cultural organizations, venues and event hosts throughout New York City to participate. Applicants may submit a special offer, a scheduled event or both. Approved participants will be listed on the public website and receive official materials to help share their involvement.
This partnership advances the Foundation’s mission to promote, preserve and perpetuate Greek culture, history and ideals by creating new opportunities for people to encounter Greek identity in the city—and for the organizations sustaining that identity to be seen and supported.
