Gregory C. Pappas, founder of the Greek America Foundation, and friends of the organization gathered for a casual evening celebrating our Gen G teens during their New York City weekend of service, leadership, and community.
Teens from across the United States gathered in New York the weekend of June 6–7 for Gen G’s first Service Triathlon, a hands-on service experience supporting vulnerable and underserved communities in the city. After a full day of service at Xavier Mission on Sunday, June 7, the teens joined family, friends, and supporters for Burger Night at Carnegie Diner & Cafe.
The evening began at 6:00 PM and was informal, fun, and meaningful: a chance to congratulate the teens, meet their families, celebrate their commitment to service, and hear updates from Gregory Pappas about the work of the Greek America Foundation.
Tickets were $100 and included meat and vegan burger options, unlimited coffee, and beverages. A portion of the proceeds supported the establishment of the Gen G Teen Endowment Fund, the first of its kind in the Greek-American community.
