Starting November 7, Greek Australian entrepreneur George Moulos will start his journey to set a Guinness World Record and become the first person to march across Greece from north to south.
George is raising funds for our Children of Greece campaign with a fundraising goal of $5,000. Click here to make your donation.
Starting from the northernmost point of the Greek mainland, George will finish in the southernmost point for a total distance of 741 miles or 1,193 kilometers over 27 days. Accomplishing this feat would give George the record for “Fastest Crossing of Mainland Greece North to South on Foot.” The full route from start to finish is available for viewing here.
George will be supported by a videography team in a camper van but will not be transported by any means other than his own two feet. Click here to read more details about his journey.
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, George is a 26-year-old serial entrepreneur who was selected for the Forbes 30 Under 30 Greece in 2021. After starting online businesses from a young age he moved to Greece and Cyprus to grow his businesses and promote entrepreneurship and innovation to young people.
George is the newest member of Team Greek America, our virtual team of athletes who create their own or participate in organized races to raise funds for the foundation. Click the below to donate and help George reach his goal!
