Thousands watched via Facebook on Saturday, February 27, as a team of musicians from Chicago — Dimitri Dallas, Niko Davelis, Yanni Kousiounelos and Dimitri Spatharakis — performed a live-streamed concert to raise funds for our #ChildrenOfGreece campaign.
The band performed traditional music from the Greek island of Crete and paid tribute to the masters of Cretan music: Thanasis Skordalos, Leonidas Klados and Nikos Xilouris.

The #ChildenOfGreece campaign falls under the Greek America Foundation’s Project Hope for Greece. Launched in 2013, the project aims to inspire philanthropy among North Americans and encourage grassroots fundraising for charitable organizations in Greece.
