An entire episode of Attica TV’s programming was dedicated to “The Hour of Greece” exhibition, which opened at the Hellenic American University in Athens, Greece.
The exhibition is comprised of more than 300 items that tell the story of the American response to Greece’s role during World War II. The items are from the private collection of Gregory C. Pappas, founder of the Greek America Foundation and are currently on long-term loan to the Foundation.
The episode features interviews with Pappas, who explains how and why he built the collection, as well as Leonidas Koskos, President of Hellenic American University, the exhibition’s curator Ms. Louisa Karapidaki, and Yannis Glavinas, the historian from the National Archives of Greece who lent certain items to the exhibition.
