Team Greek America is the Greek America Foundation’s virtual athletic fundraising team, created for people who want to turn a race, walk, ride, marathon, or personal endurance challenge into an act of philanthropy.
Members participate wherever they are. They choose their own race or challenge, set a fundraising goal, share their story, and represent the Foundation while raising support for its charitable and philanthropic work.
Why Team Greek America?
From Gregory C. Pappas, President & Founder
Team Greek America was created so supporters do not have to be in one city, at one event, or on one official course to make an impact. Anyone with a goal, a story, and a desire to move with purpose can become part of the team.
Inspired by the ancient Greek ideals of excellence and philanthropy, the program gives athletes and everyday challengers a way to express their values through discipline, movement, and generosity.
How Team Greek America Works
Members can join an organized race, run a marathon, complete a triathlon or cycling event, walk in their own city, or design a personal challenge that has meaning to them.
The Foundation helps connect each effort to a fundraising goal, a personal story, and a charitable purpose.
